How to use shoe polish tin:
- Firstly, shoes must be clean and dry before use.
- Secondly, apply polish with a shoe polish cloth or shoe polish applicator.
- Allow polish to dry.
- Finally, buff to a gloss with a shoe brush or soft cloth.
- For an extra high shine, apply another light coat of polish, sprinkle with water and buff with a soft cloth.

I’m not going to name here what polish I’ve been using for decades, a much harder wax like shoe polish that tended to dry up, become more brittle, and scatter everywhere I didn’t want the bits and pieces to fly, staining what I didn’t want stained, after I finished polishing my shoes. TRG Shoe Polish is exactly as described on its label adhered to the top of its glass jar container, a polish that has a softer “crème” consistency. This polish is very easy to apply and work with and in my case the polish stays where I want it to stay, on my shoes.
